Dr. Michael Congiusta received his veterinary degree from The University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Congiusta completed a rotating internship in New Jersey and a residency in Dentistry & Oral Surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Congiusta became board-certified by the American Veterinary Dental College in 2024.
Dr. Congiusta enjoys all aspects of veterinary dentistry including oral & maxillofacial surgery. He has a particular interest in endodontic and prosthodontic treatment of teeth that have sustained trauma which might otherwise be surgically removed.
Dr. Congiusta is committed to addressing the often-hidden discomfort associated with oral diseases and providing advanced treatments to improve patient outcomes. His expertise is particularly beneficial for pets with complex oral and maxillofacial conditions, as well as those with concurrent health issues. His work is complemented by the seamless collaboration between our Dentistry and Oral Surgery department and other GSVS specialties, including medicine, surgery, oncology, and critical care.
