Dr. Noemie Bernier, a native of Montreal, Canada, has been a board certified staff neurologist/neurosurgeon with GSVS since 2001. Noemie is a graduate of the University of Montreal School of Veterinary Medicine. After receiving her DVM, she completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Purdue University in 1998. In the year 2000, Dr. Bernier finished her residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She received board certification in 2001. On a personal note, Noemie enjoys time spent with her family whether it is cooking, traveling, the theatre, or the everyday adventure of raising of two girls with her husband, who is also a veterinarian. Of course, mention of her family would not be complete without referencing her three cats (Ziggy, Lucy and Bash) and two dogs (Olive and Pablo).
