During your pet’s ophthalmology visit, they will receive a complete eye examination. This includes a stain to check for corneal ulcers, a microscopic exam of the eyelids, iris, cornea, and lens, a retinal examination, a tear test to screen for dry eye, and tonometry to evaluate for glaucoma.
